Connected my Phone via 3.5mm and RCA, powered up and started playing some songs.

Everything was smooth now moved everything to my Kef speakers. View attachment 73564

Form factor is a big win for this, the sound is unlike any class D amps I have heard, doesn’t have the glariness or the glassy highs and it retains the nice bodied lows.

I tested it with Phone and WiiM Mini’s aux out so far. With WiiM mini did feel this was a class D but with just phone it was smooth, phone used was LG v30, but downside was the amp was maxed out, maybe the phone couldn’t provide enough juice.
With Wiim Mini the volume was less than half and was enough for me.

I will be testing this as a power amp only, will contect Audiolab as Pre and DAC. But initial impressions are super about this little amp.
Awesome.....this deal just got sweeter 😁...cheers, m sure it's going to be long hearing sessions as the amp sounds plush.

The amp does sound plush, but I feel the separation and the details come at a price.
I will check using a better pre and DAC.

noob question..how does this compare to entry level AVRs for stereo sound?

Better in some regards, depends what are your needs.
If just stereo I found it lot better, AVRs don’t do justice to stereo music, having owned the x3700 I always used Integrated Amp for music sessions.

Oops, I'm sorry for my ignorance but do 32v and 36v ps sound very different from each other on Aiyima A07 ?
Output power will vary according to the input Voltage and current. Please refer the attached sheet shared by Aiyima in Amazon..

Can anyone guide me as to where I can source a good quality 32V 5A-10A or 36V 6A-10A Adapter since I already have the amp ?
Tried looking at online https://www.electronicscomp.com/ , has only 24V 5A & 48V 3A max models.

Thanks in advance.

Check it.. its 36V 5A power supply..

The 36V PS suggested by fm @premoddev looks really well built and with its price tag should be a no brainer. A similar one from Aiyima would cost you twice this.

Could 48V 5A adaptor could be used for Aiyima 07? Price is same as that of 36V 5A. Aiyima site says it supports 48V 7.5A PSU.

Yup....will work fine. Are you really planning on using the amp at Max volume all the time.
