how to make ? HERE

The pc is damn silent , this one carries a GFX card ..
may be if can do a soundcard mod , it will be a good pc audio solution

socket 1156 dual core pentium and a hd4670 gpu. The power supply is a 250 watt flex atx Seasonic. While I could have fitted a more powerful video card, I didin`t really need to. With a more powerful card, a blower style cooler will most likely become necessary. I wouldn`t want the gpu cooler exhausting back into such a small case. The power supply could also become a limitation. It can provide around 210 watts @ 12v. A gtx 460 got me pretty close to this figure in games and exceeded it in furmark , so I settled for a 4670 I had around. As it is, it`s pretty quiet as I can get away with setting the case fans to 5 volts.

cooling may be an issue with a wooden cab?

nooh baba ,
does the cabinet cool the stuff , no !
itz the coolers fitted

the maker has carefully chosen components ..... just a dual core , solidstate PSU etc etc.. read the link atleast

Beautiful. You can replace the cd rom drive front panel with one having oval edges. Better still make one using wood and a router.

It's lovely work. Very nice indeed.

Silent PC Review is also a must visit site for anyone who wants to make their computer quieter, or wants to build one that doesn't make any noise at all.

(I see my favourite fan maker, Noctua, is researching noise cancelling fans! Looks like that'll be my next round of quiet-cooling spending :) )

It looks like a veg cutting board. Looks cool and should not be costing more than 100 per board. But how do you cut it and attach it to the desired size/layout..

Thanks

Mitre join them and use feviquick

Another option for seamless joints is Korian from Dupont which is mainly used for kitchen platforms, but it will look like a single piece without any joints.

cut at the laser engraving shop ..! this is best ..
but wood router mill is there all the places you can use that,
glue can be superglue ,best is araldite

i loved the wooden piece, if it is polished well will surely look like a vintage device :) well done

If the chips used create little enough heat it will also be fine.

Seems to me that this is ideal for an audio setup: low-power cpu, no heavy graphics.

Or, even a home-built CD player? Although I'm quite active in the computer audio section here, I've never built one just for sound. My CDP is dying... I'm wondering!
