software to play blu-ray rips

If you like potplayer then you can refer to this setting site. This site is very exhaustive and I had used it and was able to get bitstreaming.

Thanks
Thanks Dear,

I have seen this site, still something is not working. Can you let me know why there are separate settings for audio/video filters & custom filters?
In MPCHC its totally different.

Finally I got it,it was a Lavfilter which was not working correctly.I installed portable Lav filters & I could get it.Thanks.
Now the next is to reduce CPU load.I thing DXVA is not working out correctly to raise CPU load upto 60%.Its not the case with MPCHC.

I installed Power DVD 10, I am not able to play .bdmv file.
While browsing it is not showing this file (not supported format).
Looks like it will play only from a Blu-ray Disc

Is there any procedure I have to follow to play the .bdmv file?

Best way to play blu ray rips (not mkv but entire blu ray copied on hdd) is to create iso file using blu ray burning software (I use imgburn) then mount it using virtual drive (virtual clone drive) and play with either pdvd or tmt.

Great spiro at last you were able get it. But I tried all possible options to reduce the cpu load but failed in all attempts. Even for a file of size 3 to 4 gb my cpu usage used to be above 60 to 70% hence gone back to xbmc + mpc-hc + madvr combination which shows the utilization close to 20%. But with just xbmc the cpu usage is just 5 to 7% :clapping: but the picture with madvr is too good to avoid for at least DVD quality movies. If you are able to get the cpu utilization to reduce then please let me know how to do that..

Thanks

Thanks, there is DXVA option in potplayer, but some how its not working. With MPCHC,CPU load is <10% always. So will try to find out why. Many of the guides are written considering nvidia GPU with less twicks for ATI.Let's see.
Cheers.

Finally I could reduce the CPU load around 35%(29-45) with default settings & not with DXVA selection in main windo(F5).

With madVR around 45%-
