Hi Guys,

Did you all receive the HDMI cable along with this player? The LG India website lists the HDMI cable free with the BP420 but not with BP440 - so I was just curious. Also how is the 1080p upscaling of the SD contents ? Did anyone try the 3d ?

I received the HDMI cable. Could not test 3d as I don't have 3d tv

3D working perfectly however upscale from sd to hd is not good enough .....ps3 do good job in upscale

Yes, I too got the HDMI Cable inside the box. It's strange you didn't get one, maybe it was a packing mistake at their end. you should speak to the LG customer care.
btw, any anyone managed to find a way to make it region free for DVD's?

Will it support ntfs format and can play iso's or large file size(more than 10gb)?

The subtitles size can be increased or decreased.
Info/Menu -> Options -> Subtitle -> OK and you can modify size, position.
