I know its bit late in the day, but its Oppo 103D and not 103 that you got for 61,000? Currently, I am getting 103 for 60,000 and 103D for 71,000.

Would be really keen if the guys who you bought it from still selling at that price.

All those having Oppo 103, how do you find it's performance in 2 channel stereo? Do you use the analogue outs or digital outs while playing music? How would you rate it's internal DAC for music?

I know its 2 years later but I got my 103 two months ago. My answer to this is that its 2 channel sound is very good. For some music, it sounds sweeter and more airy to me than my el cheapo Onkyo CD player (C7030) that I picked up 5 years ago. I listen to everything from BB King to the D.R.E. Not done a side by side comparison with a great CD player (say a Cyrus) but I am happy with this. Its a nice bonus on top of everything else thats great about the 103!

The 103 is fast, superb with DVDs (have a huge legacy collection) and of course BDs, streams well, plays DSD over HDMI and finally has an interface I can live with.

I have a brand new BDP 103 available for 55k. While its impressive in terms of PQ and 2D media support, I am unable to use the HDMI splitter function to pass HD audio to my Marantz Receiver which has stopped outputting Video.

So looking for 4k BDP or a Xbox One S in the meanwhile.
