Hi,

My room is 15*12 probably and currently i am looking for a receiver. My factors for choosing are:-
1.budget price
2.Reliability(lesser issues and doesnt break down every few months or years)

My biggest concern is if i realy need 7.2?or if buying a 5.1 as of now is the biggest blunder considering future proofing blah blah.Since i didnt have an avr till date i dont know how

3.Denon stacks up against Yamaha quality wise
4.If i would go wrong to go for X1330w just because it gives 7.2?

I plan to buy the Taga V506 speakers.
Can the audiophile here please help me out?

I was earlier looking for rxv 581 but it seems too costly for me and i am confused if i am paying too much without needing that meny channels. So i have settled on either rxv 481 which comes for 40k and so does denonx1300w at 40k.

for a room size given by you, a 5.1 would do, but the latest avr are with 7.2 at the same price. If you reqt is for movies, denon would be better

The difference in cost in India is around 10000Rs/- between the 481 and 581
Denon x1300 and Yamaha rxv581 both MRP 54900. 10-12% discount available. The 40k price for denon is grey market or seller warranty, not manufacturer warranty. For your room size, rxv 481 can't go wrong. If you want to expand to Dolby Atmos in near future then only go for 1300 or 581

I purchase rxv 481 two months back and paired it with Taga 606se. I am enjoying the set up so far. Did not find any lack of power. Good for movies and okay for music.

does anyone know where i can buy the denon AVR-X1300W both official & grey market in mumbai?

Thanks.
