Hi All,
Would appreciate any help on how to connect dual subs to an amp using high or speaker level inputs. Would be great if someone could provide a diagram
Thank you all so much for your time
Cheers!

Simple method is using "Y" splitter cable.

Does you subwoofer has " Line out" options. Plus it is a passive subwoofer or Active ? Could guess since you have put speaker level inputs / High it should be passive.

If you could post the backside photo of your subwoofer & amp where the connectors are there, could easily suggest.

Regards

Just to clarify @samgurung - we are looking at something like this on the back of the sub?

1 - Both high level input and output?

Or 2 - Only high level input?

I have both high level inputs and lfe. Currently connected via lfe... wanted to connect via speaker level input

Checking your signature - I realised you are perhaps using these subs in an HT setup. LFE is your best bet in an HT setup, line level won't do you much good.

If you still want to for the fun of it - it will be very similar to wiring your speakers from the same amplifier outs. I would still suggest read about High level in HT and then decide whether you want to go with it or not.

Not in an HT setup. Planning to try in a stereo setup. I guess the attached diagram is the way to go?

Yes as per the diagram - except just imagine the subwoofer in the image being split in half - representing the left and right subwoofer - the rest remains the same. I am sure you know, just putting it out there.

So two more sets of wires for the other subwoofer? In a two sub setup?

Which subwoofers and amplifier are you using? Pics of their rear panel would help give you better suggestions.

Not sure what you mean - but refer to the diagram. Pardon my drawing skills.

In your diagram the left channel is feeding the left subwoofer and the right channel is feeding the right subwoofer. In the diagram I posted both left and right channels are being fed to the one subwoofer. Should not both the left and right channels go into the right subwoofer as well?

That is when you have a single subwoofer - then you would do what the diagram suggests. Here you are trying to create a stereo subwoofer setup.

Let me clarify so as to not cause any confusions-

If you have a single subwoofer - you will do what the photo you posted suggests.
If you have a stereo/dual sub setup - with high level inputs (not output) - you would do what my childish drawing shows.
