finally got 1.5 PET for 40k plus installation.. However extra copper pipes of about 4 meters for both units cost me a bomb @700 rs per meter. hopefully i didnt get ripped off. Unit came with 10 feet per unit .
Calling out all sharp and inverter AC owners... What settings /option to do u use or what are the optimum settings for fan speed, mode etc.
Sharp owners do u use auto fan speed or set a fixed speed ?
Also do u also set the Temp as auto too under mode, this is something new to me. This sets the temp as auto too and gives an adjustment of +/- 2 celcius.
Out of these settings which one is suggested n efficient as weell :-
Both fan n temp at auto.
keep the fan on auto n temp as desired.
Keep fan at a set speed n temp as desired.
Pls help me understand the settings n what do sharp owners suggest as their go to settings.my model is the x18PET without plasma cluster.
Auto Mode makes it too cold for me.. I normally have been using it at low fan speeds at 24 degrees. with 60% eco mode option.. 15 day usage in March ( nights only) have given me total electric bill of entire apartment of 1100 rs only. Its a Noiseless wonder.. However, i feel the real test would be in peak delhi heat of may June..
Thanks..but what exactly does Eco mode do, 60% or 80%. I mean how is it any different from not using it in terms of functioning or cooling ?
By the way, doe sth compressor ever shut down compeltley in this sinvertr model ?
I am asking this as I have felt that sometimes I feel little less cold n feel the temp rises after the temp coming down.
I don't know how to explain this, I am mostly setting the temp at 23-24 as of now with fan speed of 3 n use the air on ceiling swing option...don't know what its called.
After few minutes when the temp comes down I feel the air feels less colder the before n again it becomes cooler in a bit.
I thought it maintains the temp or am I missing something here or there is some malfunction with my AC or installation.
What do u think , should I call the sharp engineers n explain them this issue, my AC is brand new by the way.
No need to get it checked.
These ACs are designed to operate in a band. Say 0 to 10% load, they would run like any other AC ie. on-off. Beyond 10% loading, the inverter would kick in and take over the compressor operations.
