16x15 Room - AVR + 2.1 setup > Plans to upgrade to 5.1 later

My uncle wants to have a HT for his home.

His room size is 16x15 and i have suggested to first go with AVR + 2.1 setup and then upgrade later to 5.1 ,as was advised by this forum long before.

I am not in touch with latest development regarding AVR and speakers .

So kindly suggest a setup with a budget of 60-65K.
