2 Source 1 Pair Speakers?

I want to connect 2 sources to one tower speakers.. I got a pair of tower speakers that are connected to my Stereo amp, now i want to connect the same towers to my AVR also and use as front speakers when I am watching movies. Is this possible and if it is please enlighten:indifferent14:.

if your avr has preouts, connect that to the amp's input.

I followed the simple solution of spirovious to connect my AVR and Amp to single pair of speakers. I did the wiring directly to the switch instead of binding posts. It is cheap,quick and simple solution.

You can refer to this thread of spiro who initially made this switch. I have brought all the required items to do that but with my DIY speaker this has been postponed as of now. But it is a cheap and reliable solution for this setup.
