If you are confident of the seller go for the JBL else the wharfedale but will need to plan for a stand for that.

I have no idea of the SB acoustics kit.

I am also eyeing SB acoustics speaker kits.

They have been favorably mentioned by a few knowledgeable persons.

Thats true. Their peers have reviewed them VERY highly. Amit of IndiqAudio has said they're good. Audible Physics has said theyre good.

I use Wharfedale 220 with my Yamaha AVR for the exact same genres as yours and I like them. I don't have stands which could enhance the soundstage even more. Try to audition other two brands before buying.
