It seems your Company hired a copywriter to draft your letters of apologies and excuses in bulk.
Now you keep recycling them with every delivery date you miss. My personal favourites
are "
Custom authorities are like ocean tides, cannot be hurried" "
Your shipment has been in
bureaucratic hell bouncing"
One suggestion . Please put all these excuse emails on an auto responder
( that is if you have already not done that ). It will save some time for your army of employees
which according to you has been working overtime to keep the engine running.
You cannot be absolved for such never ending delays by saying that you are simple humans
( and perhaps to err is human ) and then passing on the blame to the Govt. offices and bureaucracy .
Don't all we Indians love doing that. In fact you could also try putting the blame on "Foreign Hand "
If you cannot stand the heat, you are requested to step out of the kitchen. You are a company ( a group
of professionals I suppose ) whom we customers are paying to get the job done. Moreover if you are so aware
of these issues and causes of delay then why do you mislead the customers by promising them false
deadlines. Even customers are considerate. You miss the deadline once and push it further by 2 weeks,
we forgive you. You do it again, we forgive you. But four times in a row. Even we are simple humans and
don't have the proverbial patience of Job ( by the way, here I am not referring to Steve Jobs of Ipod, but
the Biblical Character )
Finally, perhaps yours is a legitimate company ( not a scam ) and you do deliver products.
But just like justice delayed is justice denied, so is product delayed. What am I suppose to do if you
deliver my product after many months ( or years ) when I no more need it or have learnt to live without it.
Do you realize that the professional microphone I had ordered was for an urgent business assignment
and not for leisure ( or to put in my pyjamas, like some of you have pointed out ).
Hope you tighten up the nuts and bolts of your company before it completely falls apart.

I wanted to post an update for everyone. As I mentioned in my last review that I had to cancel my order placed at 20North after the delivery delays and ask for a refund. Let me inform you, that 20North has issued a full refund to me. Not just that, upon reordering, 20North has now even delivered my order ( that too with 15% Discount + Duty Free ). After getting my full refund from the cancelled order my fear of being scammed was allayed. Moreover after being reassured by 20North Team for a better service ( in response to my review posted on various forums ) I decided to give one more shot to 20North . I made a pre-order enquiry from 20North about the possibility of using Duty Free option and also about claiming the 15% Discount (as promised compensation for delay in previous order ). 20North gladly agreed to offering me both these discounts ( courtesy Suraj from 20North Support ). This greatly reduced the cost of my Order . In short, I could not have bargained for a better deal anywhere. My only apprehension was if 20North will be able to deliver these items in 20 days of the promised time ( Once bitten twice shy kind of feeling )
I reordered on 16th Sep, 2009 and this time got all 4 items delivered to me after just 12 days. Let me add here that all items very packed very nicely and thus delivered very safely ( without any damage in the transit ).
Really satisfied with 20North's service this time. Surely I would be using their services again in future. It will be a delight for an Indian Shopper like me to shop at 20North , as long as they maintain this high standard of service. My best wishes are with them .
