42 inch LED/LCD/Plasma

Hi Guys
I want to purchase a 42 inch TV
I want to know should i go with an LCD or LED or Plasma.
I want to purchase a tv with 3D capabilities but i guess it goes beyond 1L :sad:

I dont want to confuse myself because there are a lot of options available.
I Just want some replies from you Guys and some specific models that you are using at your place.

My Budget will be till 80K

I will check those Models out and buy one of them.

I hope to get some good responses based on your own experiences.
I will mostly watch hi-def movies on the TV.

80k is a good budget for getting a fantastic plasma's which offers excellent pic quality.

get the 42" Panasonic v20 or 6 series 50" Samsung plasma.

Hi my vote on the panny 42V20 again. Save you some money to buy a decent BD spinner. or a samsung 3D model is available for abt 120000 MRP, your price should be less, check out during new year.

pana 42v20 is a good bet compared to sammy, pana is far a head in all aspects.......

Last year I had bought Panasonic G10 42 " it was very good, this yr one of my friend has bought V20 42 " its better and it will cost you in the range of 64-68K. I would recommend Panasonic V20 series

Well look at the panny V20D or new LG LED series ..... If you go for Panny V20D you can save 15 k and buy a Bluray player

hi check out lg 47ld650. Its under 80k and u can get a blueray and dth connection.

well i feel u aspire to own a 3d tv in future and at the same time you need some big screen entertainment now
your corpus is 80k

in my opinion split it to 35k and 45k brackets

with 35k buy a panasonic plasma with 3 yrs warrenty and rest asured for 3 yrs

save the 45k and after 3 - 5 years when ur bored of this buy a 3d tv

that costs bout 2l now will be cheaper by then ....

Sound advice, think about it, but check which screen size you would get @ 35K. I recently bought a Sony EX 600 LED, 40" for 80K and the price has already dropped by about 5K in a span of about a month or slightly more.

Panasonic TH-P42X20 is available for 35-37K from Panasonic Brand shops.

But there is a lot of panel reflection with moderate to high ambient lighting, but with low to nil ambient lighting the PQ is very good/great, beats every LCD/LED Tv's.

I went to panasonic shop to check the V20 and it was good.
I also saw X20.

X20 was priced at about 35K and V20 at about 68K.

Which model should i go with?
there is a huge difference in price though both are 42 inch.
and is the price of V20 ok?

Also i checked samsung LCD and the brightness of those TVs were awesome.

So should i purchase the panny plasma or samsung LCD
I will use the tv for watching HD movies most of the time.
No DTH.

I have to finalize the deal.

Go with V20 but 68k is toomuch bangalore is around 61-63k so you shld get much lesser or same.

I did not see the X20 in motion so I can not comment on it but the V20 is superb..... And just compare the specs on panny india website.... Take a demo of both TVs.
