I am getting it for 1.8lac with home theater and 4 3D glasses.
Is it a good deal for this tv??
How is it compared to the Panasonic Gt50???
According to a top ISF calibrator (Chad B), both GT50/VT50 and E8000 perform more or less same. There is nothing significant to differentiate.
For example, GT50/VT50 have slightly more black levels compared to E8000 (the difference is very minimal), where as E8000 has more natural color reproduction and better motion handling. In the end, it boils down to individual's preference.
Thanks I've booked the tv.
It going to be delivered tomorrow, very excited..hyeah:
Congrats, Chaitu !!
Enjoy the big screen.. do post your review for the benefit of other forum members
BTW, wat's the final deal..
you should have delivered the tv by yourself.all the dealers send the showroom display products.
anyway check usage hours and tell the delaer if you find it display piece.you will not accept the piece.
Congrats. You have got yourself avery good display.
Break-in slides should be run at higher contrast. While watching actual content lower the contrast and sharpness. Turn off all fancy picture processing modes. You can keep cell brightness at whatever you like. You are all set to enjoy.

The 64" E8000 will have similar black levels as the VT50 if properly calibrated, enjoy!
Which TV did the OP choose?
