IMHO don't think a SOUNDBAR can do justice to a proper AVR system to enjoy a perfect Theatre performance.

I would suggest to start auditioning various systems at dealers now itself so that you are convinced you are taking the right decision to go in for a soundbar system or a proper AVR system. End of the day its the Users call based on what he wants in terms of performance, looks and of course budget!

Agreed, efernand1 is right, also if you need a perfect Dolby Atmos setup, AVR + 7.1 speakers setup is the best, also wired setup is much superior in special effects of a dolby atmos content, as compared to a wireless setup.
If you need helicopter blades sound effects over your head, you should audition properly designed 7.1 setup, and then make a decision as per your requirement and satisfaction.

More than helicopter effects its the soothing rainfall and thunder effects that could enliven your viewing experience. Dolby Atmos. The htibs cant offer that.
