900 lines v/s 1080 lines..which should i choose

Does Motion Picture Resolution matters, Will i regret in investing in a 900 lines MPR Panasonic Plasma( 50 U) instead of a panel with 1080 lines ( 50 V) please advice..both models are from panasonic- Arun

you wont get full HD.. as 1080 is not there.. the tv will have to match its algorithm and adjust those extra lines in those 900 lines..

however the price diffrence is huge.. but still V scores a lot in terms of picture quality that U

More lines means more clarity and more details ,1080p is the latest and y to invest in a previous one which has lesser progressive lines...
V series is superior than u series noticeably...

if it is lesser than 32 inch the 1080 p and 900p will be hard to differentiate,it is 50 inches what ur taking about .so go for 1080p if u dont have any budget constrains and ur money investing in panasonic v series is worth while than in u20....

What CANDUU said. If your not planning on watching 1080p HD content then might as well settle for 900 lines

It will be very very hard to differentiate the extra motion resolution of just 180 lines.
Many can't see the differentness between 600 and 1080 lines.

But the V series primary edge is the better panel with better contrast .Effect of ABL is lesser in V series.
