A good CD transport for Denafrips Aries II

Hi All,
Greetings.
Looking for an upgrade in my source, from Marantz CD 6006 to a good CDT. I have a dedicated Dac Denafrips Aries II. My CDT choices are Jay’s Audio, Audiolab 6000, Cambridge CXC etc.. Looking forward to hear your valuable suggestions in this regard.

My set up is Accuphase Amp E 470, Tannoy Turnberry GR, Denafrips Aries Dac, Duelund Speaker cables, Nordost power Cord etc.

Kindly share your thoughts and suggestions to conclude my search and to take a wise decision.

From those choices listed, my vote goes for Jay's Audio CDT for the setup you have.

You have a high end set up. So get the best transport to match the rest of your chain.

Accuphase DP-xx CD player? It’s not a transport only, but would match very well with E470. Alternatively, +1 for Jay’s CDT.

The Jay's Audio is the best of the ones listed. Its also a very different price point - $2.5k ex China, landed cost in India would be around 2.5l. The others are all in the 48-60k inr range (including the new Leak CDT). These would be more price appropriate for your DAC

I suspect that's the case. If possible, borrow a better DAC or good single box cd player to try out before finalising on a transport. If your primary listening is CDs, a single box player may work better.

A good Japanese transport from Denon, Marantz,Teac, Esoteric is ideal.
