yes thats what i meant... the issue is X friend is carrying stuff for me however meeting him after like 5 years and feeling lil embarassed to ask him to pay though it wont be an issue but still holding back..

friend Y is close and can just ask him to buy the same for me however is at diffrent location in US and not same city as friend X.

so query is friend Y can pay who holds citizenship and permanent account with US address and ship it to friend X who is travelling for business work back to india for like 5 days and will carry my stuff.

rest of the stuff like my IEM's and a few ODac's are accepting indian card and hence no issue. just dont want to loose out on this ACER 5370BD deal as this is the cheapest i have seen this projector getting sold for.
 
Permanent citizenship is not required as I got stuff booked with my relative's help who are there on rent as contract for 2yr.So Y can book it and ship to X place.Newegg is not issue but bank can reject payment even after newegg places your order.
Nothing wrong in trying.

Yes, if the website doesn't accept different billing & shipping address, there would be an option to mark the item as gift. Then they accept different billing & shipping address.
 
I am also planning to buy one through ishopinternational. They are quoting 36k.what you guys say. Any better options?
 
my order is being placed today by a friend in US with his card and getting at 24K... guess cheapest deal i have made in forum ... for 377 $

please send me links for glasses from amazon .. which ones to buy.. budget not an issue to an extent as these items will be for long term so looking for good quality ones :)

Wise decision. Thats what i mailed my friend, dont wait for Thanksgiving, i dont want to be too greedy. 377$ is a steal.. Looking to wrap up the entire setup cost for less than 30K. 2 3d glasses and a screen.
 
theoronhorse, I think me or jsanand would have got it even more cheaper even though it was at $400. I got mine at Rs. 23,300 as the exchange rate was Rs. 58. :)

paypal registered address needs to be for US as far as i know coz if you pay via paypal. it just takes you to account login and pays. so item will be shipped to same address
