Hi Everyone,

Came across two demo amplifiers available in sale Audiolab 7000A for ₹1.15L and Rega Brio for ₹60K, with full warranty. Is it advisable to go for demo units ?

If yes what key aspects should I check to ensure the amplifiers are in good condition? Are there any specific tests or validations recommended before making the purchase.

Thanks

If getting full warranty, then yes after a long demo to check excessive heating issue, noise or tripping.
I had bought Onkyo HTIB that way.

Yeah totally fine if provided with a Full Warranty.
That said, you should scout around for what the market prices are for these amplifiers. By that, I don't mean Hi Fi Mart online prices. Actual store prices. If its not a significant mark up (compared to used), then I'd go Brand New.
Keep in might that these are not the most sought after amplifiers so if you don't like them, for whatever reason, selling them will be hard.
Also, more than their discounted prices, you should listen to them with your speakers and then take a call if they work for you.

Order your Rega Turntables & Amplifiers from HiFiMART.com - India's reputed online dealer.
