Advise For Home Theater Package

Hai everybody I am a new member to this site.I want your advise to buy a good home theater package.

my room is 15 feet long and 12 feet wide (its a small room
I want a small speaker package with big sound stage and great low end power.
please suggest a good avr and speaker system.

I found many reviews of boston soundware xs 5.1 and energy rc micro.I have a plan to buy onkyo tx sr 608 and one of these speaker package.please recommend if other good options available.

Also I have some doubts.
1>can we get low end sound(below 30hz) in a small room
2.is that possible to achieve low end(below 30hz) from an 8 inch subwoofer.

Room size has nothing to do with frequency output, though it may have post delivery effects on the sound. If you have a sub that can deliver that frequency, and have proper bass traps, you can certainly get 30Hz.

2.is that possible to achieve low end(below 30hz) from an 8 inch subwoofer.

Again depends upon the sub, and the way it handles the frequencies.

Having said that, subs that generate 30Hz and below are difficult to come by and will be expensive. Look for specialised manufacturers such as Hsu, SVS, etc.
