I didn’t understand the hmm:)

Ascendo was their top of the line. Magico was their second level from top. Price wise these speakers would compare with Wilson Alexia

How would the t+a work with the Sabrina?

Hi Audiopro, should work very well. T+A is also a great amp. Again very musical. Also I think it’s available or going to be available in India.

Look at the parasound jc5 and it's pre. The set should be less than 10L. Or maybe another pre based on your taste. Accuphase e800 should be about 15L max if you are serious with the guy while negotiating your purchase.

Accuphase seems to be expensive in India. Japan is the best place to buy Accuphase however voltage/customs could be an issue.

From some discussions on audiogon forums, I heard from some users that wilsons sound very good with Class A. Wilsons are super transparent and that natural feel to the highs from Class A compliments the design. The problem is that wilsons are little hard to drive and finding slightly higher power Class A amps breaks the budget. In case you have the budget, do not ignore. I don't remember the brands being discussed though.

Will be far more expensive than budget. Even the e600 is for 13 14 lacs odd

10-12 Lacs is a lovely budget and can get top of line stuff, if you lived abroad. Sigh.

But just to add. E-650 was once offered to me for 7.5L - ish. The Accuphase dealers do quote outlandish prices (not just in India, but everywhere). But you can talk to them and see what they say.

E-800 in Japan retails for 7L, if you are able to handle the hassles of customs, so even with duties it will fall in your budget and will be probably the best amp you could buy for under 20L.

I have read in audioaficionado.org some user who paired his Magico with E-650 (rated at 30W class A, then it goes to A/B) and it did magic. So E-800 should be plenty and I would really really look into this amp.

If you are seriously interested, ping me, and I know a few ways to buy Audiophile goods from Japan. And can direct you. Audiocubes specialises in it, and there are also many services that allow you mail redirect stuff.

Also apparently it's very easy to change Accuphase from 100V to 230V, its just a jumper change (or so I have heard).

Been highly recmmneded the ASR Emitter exclisiv.. anyone here familiarr with it ?
Saurabh,
Im a proud and satisfied owner of an ASR Amplifier .
It ended my search for the “Holy Grail “ of amplifiers.
... and I’ve also gone through /owned lots of named amplifiers .
It‘s got qualities of sound and build which only singular focus and ownership over 40 years can deliver. And a pedigree and list of owners .
But trust only your ears . ASR does not have a huge advertising budget or celebrity designer- owner.
But those who know or met Friedrich Shaeffer are aware of his genius.
What an Amp !

You have the four box behemoth? Nice!

It's gotten a lovely review: "The ASR Emitter II Exclusive is unlike any other audio product of my experience—and I've experienced a lot. I can't recall a single other product designed and built with so much love—not for everyone, but for the relatively few listeners at whom it is aimed."

Excellent, by that time the UP border will also open and hopefully this current scenario will subside a bit... The separate power supplies and superb reviews make the amp very intriguing and hence my shameless self invite...

A beautiful, well-constructed speaker with class-leading soundstage, imaging and bass that is fast, deep, and precise.
