An article I wrote for Mint about what audio setup to buy

I am a Mint subscriber and I was pleasantly surprised on the quality of the article as its very rare to see actual audiophile equipment being recommended.

Good to know you are an active member and keep up the good work.

Nice article. Congratulations. I enjoyed munching it. :clapping:Though I was quite confused as the suggestions seem to have mixed up HT/ stereo throughout. IMHO, two high quality speakers are not truly a replacement for 6 mid quality speakers for movies. I would have liked a mention about Onkyo 3500 which is a better choice than AEA5 for movies because it is movies.

Thanks for writing on mass media about Hifi. This should really help people to take wiser decisions and get better VFM for their purchase.

Good work . for most of the folks this is a good introduction into what a good music system is.

Small errata about Boom-a-rang Juhu - it has been shuttered more than a year ago. The new shop is in Veera Desai Road.

i saw this article few days back, mint comes to our office, some time i glance through this. never thought that the writer is Hifivision member.

Very nicely written. Sound advice for many for sure!

Just one clarification on the price of the PSB Synchrony One - Priyesh quoted Rs 3.25 lakh last year. Have they come down in price to Rs 2.5 lakh?
