Beginner audiophile here. I have a 14x15 room and want to enjoy listening to music, movies and play games on the pc. I'm mostly sitting on the desk and don't need anything powerful to move the whole room. Budget is around 20k.
Should I get studio monitors? I have no experience with loudspeakers but from what I've heard about studio monitors most of them don't sound that enjoyable for games/music at least not the entry levels.
I have an audio interface + mic setup for recording if it matters. There's also this mobo (Rog strix x670e-e) which has built in audio system (https://rog.asus.com/motherboards/rog-strix/rog-strix-x670e-e-gaming-wifi-model/). Is it better than using the audio interface?

For your setup, studio monitors can work, but entry-level ones might not provide the best sound for music and gaming, as they tend to be more accurate than enjoyable. You might want to consider bookshelf speakers or audiophile desktop speakers for a better overall experience.

As for your audio interface versus the built-in sound on your motherboard, the audio interface will likely provide superior sound quality for music and recording, while the onboard audio is fine for casual gaming and movies but generally lacks the depth and clarity of a dedicated interface.
