Anybody aware of upcoming Independence Day offers for Samsung TVs?

Anyone know what offers will be given for Samsung TVs? for Aug 15?
Its only a few days away, and if any good freebies are given with TV, then it makes sense to wait and buy.
(example- free BD player)

Yeah, chances of a DVD/ BD player etc are bright. Even HT or a soundbar is possible. But normally they takes off the exchange discount to accommodate such gifts.

Good question, I am also waiting for a good offer..I think the best period would be Diwali if you can wait.

I spoke to VS in Pune about the upcoming offers, they are not aware of any offer ( Company/Dealer sponsored both ) as of now.

Today In Odisha Times of India, Samsung has an independence day offer advertisement. Only free(!) Extended warranty on selected models of LED TVs and 3 models of Plasma(43+51f4900, 51f5500)

Well...Samsung offer is applicable pan Indian but they have specified the models on which what offer is applicable...the offers are - 3yrs extended warranty, 2 xtra 3D glasses, up-to 12K off on exchange, 15/- down-payment on TV purchase.
Remember to read the fine print, associated with asterisk on above all these offers.

I think it is not a bad offer. It is better than giving sometime useless goodies. All these are essential kit. Extended warranty will give peace of mind for upto three years. Extra 3D glasses are always needed as most Indian families are too big, which needs more than the standard 2 that comes with the TV.

I think offer is only from 10th to 25th aug. those thinking of buying should do so quickly as Samsung rarely gives ext. warranty for its sets.

@manzb can you give me address of the Sammy store at Vashi where you made your purchase ? How much %age discount should I haggle for 40F6400 ?

We got it for 65K. It is at the Samy store at Vashi (Satra Plaza). But now MRP has gone up, so you can try around 70K. Anything less is better. Now they are giving these additional offers like extended warranty and 3D glass. So the prices can be a bit higher. Tell them that you know me (refer that the guy who bought the TV & the fridge together) that's why you are coming directly to buy at 65K. But be sure that you want to buy this. If you are just on a browsing for price they will quote around 75K only.

Visited a Samsung shop today. The Series 6, 7 and 8 55 inchers have a 1+3 years warranty.

Yes it is on 64F8500 as well. It has 3 years extended warranty. Not sure whether it means 1+3 years or 3 years altogether.

I purchased 46F7500 on 11-Aug from Croma Pune, not for the offer but for the service,
