Hello Gurus,

I recently bought samsung LCD which has HDMI, Optical o/p etc. As everyone knows sound o/p of LCD's is not so good and would like to connect it to external speakers.. Please can you suggest me any good speaker system to enhance my LCD sound effects? My LCD has DTS and Dolby sound system. My budget is less than 5K.

Thanks

Get some good Altec Lansing 2.1 or Creative 2.1 or Logitech 2.1. They are well within your budget. Some 5.1 speakers from iBall, Tech-com, and Intex will also fall within your budget.

to use dts and dolby sound system you need to have digital connection
if your lcd has an optical out you sure can enjoy it..

however 13-15 wud be the minimum bet to get such a system or prosbably more.

else go for the analog way with the audio out and get yourself a 2.1 system..

for 5k get a altec lancing or edifier..

for 2.1 setup, i suggest iball tarang.
i use it with my pc..
very good sound quality for Rs. 1500/-
there is also a version with remote for 2.2K.

I have connected my Logtech Z323 worrth 3.2K to my 50" Plasma (LG 50PK550) which has analog variable audio out. It's made a world of difference, and I can atleast now hear what they are saying on Nat Geo HD, since the sound levels of that channel is very weak.

Hey thanks for all your suggestions... I heard lot about altec lancing speakers and will go with the same.
