Apple IPOD Classic 160GB or Cowon X7 ?

Hi Guys,

Kindly help in deciding among Apple and Cowon. I am looking for an good portable mp3 player. Only Sound and battery backup are the deciding criteria for me. Will not be using it for watching videos ...will only listen to songs mostly.
Need experts opinion. Any other options are also welcome.

Gone ahead with cowon,...placed the order on cowon india....now waiting to get it delivered

Good choice in my opinion. Audio quality of Cowon is widely accepted as better than that of the iPod. I had the Coown O2, and it beat my iPod touch comfortably.

even i am planning to buy a cowon media player exclusively i use it for jogging and gym..but i want the one with good sound quality

Cowon sound quality is very good. Only thing is, you need to pair it with good quality IEM's.
I was using it with ECCI PR series and was loving it....unfortunately ECCI got damaged and now looking out for a new IEM's which suits cowon. I have bought Brainwavz Pro alfa and it also sound good but not up to my expectations.
I would really appreciate if anybody can provide some good options of IEM's to suit cowon.
Budget - up to 5K.
