Hi, any idea how can we play these lossless and spatial files on our HT setup using iphone or ipad...kindly suggest.

play in tv via hdmi i think this is only way but sure

The funny thing about Apple music is that only some android devices with inbuilt hires DAC can natively play true lossless hires (24bit 96/192kHz) from their streaming service. All apple devices are limited to max 24bit 48kHz.

Looks like apple bosses didn't properly think through thier long term strategy. They were probably busy finding innovative ways to make thier fanboys spend more on their products .

Honestly the apples own lightning adapter still sounds better than an android phones headphone out irrespective of the sample rate. LG v series is an exception but they are dead anyway. To beat that sound quality you need a DAC on both android and iPhone. Also, Apple Music is also on macs and windows. So, natively they do high res there. Who knows if new lightning hi res dongle is on the way..

Sorry Rajesh am confused and my apologies for the same..In my setup I have SR7013 / CXNV2 / CD6007 and Parasound Halo P6.

Please advise how can I pay music via my iphone or ipad on any of the above setups in lossless /spatial

For someone like me who listens to FLACs on headphones from laptop, this will be of little value i guess unless I connect at least a 5.1 set up. Correct me if I am wrong.
