Sony experia S is great especially the HD screen with a higher DPI than the apple retina display. Elegant and durable build and the icecream sandwich upgrade has been released.
The sony camera is also pretty decent. You should read some online reviews as they provide test images.
does anyone here trust SONY hardware???:sad::sad:
i certainly dont
i sold my Galaxy S plus to a friend [5mths old-pristine condition-8k less than what i bought for] and went for S2. [already have Nexus S - which is used by wife as gaming console
; and picked up Galaxy Note a couple of months back for my father which he uses for his old song streaming from Youtube
]
the reason for picking up S2 were : 1] budget was not to exceed 30k
2] wanted a screen >4"
3] since i already had Note, that was ruled out
4] Did not trust Sony hardware though the specs of XperiaS are outstanding and a great value for money
hence, S2 was an automatic choice
went through a similar regime last week when we were looking for 25-30kish phone for my friend.. he picked up XperiaS
i would strongly suggest to experience the pure / venila android of Galaxy Nexus. Try your best to get a hold on that. My Nexus S is still supported by prompt Google updates. within a week's time it should be updated with 4.1 also. thats the joy of having a Nexus device. its only natural as for the cell phone manufacturers [i mean any mfg like Samsung, HTC, Sony, Motorola.....] who use a heavy overlay of their own UX on any adroid device, there is no benefit to upgrade the old models as they will need to spend man hours coding to adapt the new update. whilst Nexus devices, carrying pure unadultred Android OS need absolutely no effort from mfg. all the hard work is done by google team. in a way, any Nexus device is a google device rather than a Samsung or Asus!
GO FOR GALAXY NEXUS. its a steal if you can get it in less than 30k.
