I have a 42inch LG Smart 3D TV.
Issue:
The issues I face is Audio - Conversations not clear and loud which I play through my HardDisk.
Litreally I need to switch off my A/C, Fans and keep my TV volume at 100% to listen to the conversations during movies.

Requirement:
I require a sound enhancing setup to improve my audiovisual experience while watching movies.
Budget 20K may extend to 30K not more than that.

Current Conditions.
1. TV is placed at an angle in my hall.
2. Hall Size is 14 by 12

Constraints.
1. TV is placed on a showcase.
2. Absolutely no space in the sides.
3. Bottom space between Tv and placed surface is 2 to 3 inches.
4. Have 4 inches of space on the top.
5. Have lot of space at a the back say 2sq feet.
6. The TV location cant be changed.
7. The Showcase cant be dismantled.
My thoughts.
1. Soundbase type.
2. Soundbars. (need to check specs to fit in the bottom of the TV)
3. 2.1 HT (Need to find to fit the speakers )

Guys Please pour in your suggestions.
I have also attached the pics of my current placement of the TV

Prithvi,

Take a look at adding a simple 2.1 HT package.
This will fit nicely into your room given the constraints you have.

There is a wide variety of options depending on price in this area.
All you have to do is plug it into the audio output of your PC.
JBL/Harmon Kardon have some very reasonable 2.1 packages.

In the Rs 30K ++ look up PSB Alpha PS1 Powered Speakers.
Alpha PS1 Powered Speaker - PSB Speakers

These will give you very good sound and you can add a good sub later on.

Good luck with your search and welcome to this hobby!

Now I replaced speakers from Wharfedale 9.2 to Sonab C-21 (used boxes/ antique). WF 9.2 was boomy but these are nice in vocals and music.

One stereo amplifier, pair of Book Shelf speakers, and speaker stands. Monitor out taken from TV. Otherwise you need to take audio out from all sources and then select to feed stereo amplifier.

One problem is that the TV is in a corner and the listening / viewing position in not directly opposite to the TV. So i am a bit confused on what will be the best POSITIONING FOR 2.1 stereo setup

I am building a micro TL speaker with very modest dimensions and sounds fabulous with TV. Do let me know if you wish to consider.

Seeing the limited space and its for TV (I'm assuming serials, movies, programs on TV which are mostly stereo) I would highly recommend a Soundbar. Check out Yamaha, the entry level soundbar should suffice for most homes.

For excellent sound that won't break the bank, the 5 Star Award Winning Wharfedale Diamond 12.1 Bookshelf Speakers is the one to consider!
