AVR keep shutting down

Set all your speakers at small.
Set LFE, not LFE+Main, at 80 Hz.
Set Crossover at 80 Hz.
See if it helps
Regards

Will surely try these settings today evening hope it will work for me, will share you the status asap.

The AVR has sufficient power to drive your speakers in a residential scenario. At what Volume setting are you driving the speakers?
Suggest the following
1) How hot does the AVR feel when you touch it? (Should be lukewarm). Since It has ventilation from top it is essential to have a clearance at the top. Try out the AVR after removing from the rack. I know its a lot of work but you need to eliminate this possibility
2) Vacuum clean the AVR - you need not open it up but just try to clean through the vents. This will hopefully dislodge any loose debris causing a short inside
3) The speaker wire ends might be OK but also check along the entire length of the wire for frayed wire. ( Happened to me when I was dragging the stand)

Very first day i have placed my avr on top of my cabinet so that it can get proper ventilation, i don't think ventilation is a prob here, reason day before yesterday i watched "jug face" without any interruption and shutdown problem and the movie length was 1.23hrs,however yesterday while watching "Evil Dead" its crashed twice at 30 min stage, quickly i removed all speakers cables one by one from back of avr to check weather its due to faulty speaker cable but still the result is same as red led is keep flashing in regular intervals.
Than i completely removed the power cord and tried to restart after 20 mins now its again working fine.

I think baijuxvaier is correct here need to get it checked from service center.

I'm using Pioneer VSX-522K, which used to switch off itself after every 3 or 4 hours continuous running. Then, we need to press the power button to turn on again.
Sounds like its over heating
Tread carefully. Your AVR has a short life span the way you are using. Either provide ventilation or reduce load or give it good break after about 2 hours. Dont let it run to 3 or more in the current environment.

It was actually due to power constrain , what i have done just added a stabilizer to full fill the requirement and as off now its working for me..
This wont suffice in indian power environments. Am sure most will agree that, You definitely need to use a UPS!
Some even go extreme here going smart UPS way. I seriously recommend not to use it in any circumstance without a UPS.

I have been having a UPS problem since last two weeks and my AVR has been pretty much asleep since then. I simply removed it. Its not easy to live without it. But....

Today i got my AV receiver back from service center as per the engineer Hdmi GUI kit was causing the problem hence they replaced it with new one.

Hi Viren,

Can you elaborate, since I am following this thread with similar issue in my AVR4311.

Hi Naren, as i mentioned about my problem what i have observed during my testing phase with my dealer from where i bought this, it was not due to faulty speaker wires neither it was power issue, it works perfectly when use for music purpose without connecting hdmi using analogue input, however while watching movie its start tripping after half n hour show that to on a particular "Game" input in my case.

And that's what engineer was saying that hdmi GUI card is causing a problem.
i would suggest please try n test each hdmi source playing same movie may be the same problem is their in your case too.

Hope it will work for you.

Thank you Viren,

Now I understand what you were going through. My case is different in either Analog or HDMI inputs the AVR is normal except whenever I try to change the volume level it shuts with power butten flashing Red 0.5 Sec.

WR,
Naren.

Send test tones to check which channel triggers the shutdown. In my case it was the rear left channel.

A beautiful, well-constructed speaker with class-leading soundstage, imaging and bass that is fast, deep, and precise.
