I always end up getting upset while watching my 3D TV as the glasses get discharged in between. Is there anything that can be done about that?

How old are the glasses? Li-Ion batteries do have a life which is measured in number of recharges. Generally the life of such batteries on 3D glasses is about 500 charges. Search the web on tips on "how to maximize from Li-Ion batteries" and follow them. If you had been charging the batteries too long then the "juice" lessens. Worst case scenario - it may be time to replace the batteries.

Well, thanks GOD that I am away from all this as I have a LG 3D TV whose glasses don't need to be recharged. There is no usage of batteries in passive tech which keeps it away from these type of problem.

Good for you...

Look, the only thing you can do is to make sure to use rechargeable batteries and recharge them if you will be viewing 3D for a considerable amount of time. This is always going to be drawback while watching active 3D. But if you plan to go for a passive 3D in the future, you can view 3D on them with plain polarized glasses. Then you can watch 3D for as long as you want without worrying about battery drainage or discharge.

This is biggest drawback of these glasses we need to charge them after a while for regular usage. Better if you get them fully charged before you plan to use them or else switch to passive 3D TV the only perfect solution for your problem.
