BDP: 2 better than 1?

absolutely no problems with the 2 players but its a total waste

1) Reg c Bd's are very rare

Yeah I know, I will; be using the S370 mostly for my SD DVDs (1-6) and i think most of the newer Pixar/Disney BDs are region locked, as my copy of Up is (B/C).

Nothing like a good animation title to show off your HD setup. Come to think of it most of my BDs are animation titles

2) reg coding of the bd's/dvd's could be removed if you have a BD drive and stored on to a HDD from which u could play thro media player in your HT-----so i dont see the point of owning 2 BDP :lol:

I think I will take the plunge in a month or so . I am thinking of getting the Sony S370/380 from here and getting the Sony BDP-S580 from Amazon thru SYW (about 12k)
I think it should be good deal.

yup too much work but easy work , but ultimately its a passing phase and soon all disc spinners will look like a big damn waste if you go a different route
