hehhee.. Well.. I ve always learnt never to speak without complete awareness.. so I wana know ... but thats just me... So.. Sachin... u must ve been to Audio people..???? was it something like one of the inner 5.1 demo rooms ???

Hi Don't worry much as they won't call you as i have never received any call from them.
When I have first visited the place, it was a single room with demo and there is nothing for display. Don't know if there is any expansion.
Compared to other local stores (with sony or samsung etc), they have comparably better HT packages
Better to visit other stores like Audio People for better idea.

I had been to this place a few months back. I was interested in the Crystal THX Speakers. To my knowledge, the people there were not very knowledgeable. One guy told me that THX certification itself is trash(Then why should I pay so much for THX certified stuff??). They were somehow of the opinion that they alone had the best stuff in the market. I felt that they were in an urgency to meet someone and wanted to go immediately and I could feel that. When I told them that I did not like the sound of a particular speaker, they question me why? I tell them it is my personal taste, still they ask why and tell they are the best as if something is wrong with my personal taste!!! lolz! I don't have anything against them and wouldn't mind purchasing from them if need be but guys, you need to be more sensitive towards customer preferences. I know you are a young startup and it takes time to get maturity. Even the guys at Audio People were slightly inexperienced in the beginning but they never questioned me. And a recent visit to them last month showed marked improvement in knowledge. Just for info- People do visit USK, Cinebels, Vector or Sound & Vision for good knowledgeable guys with great listening rooms.

I first went for a stereo requirement, PSB T6/NAD (impressed after reading reviews). We went for an audition (after taking appointment) for T6 demo - he did'nt have a single stereo integrated amp to test. He could get an amp only on order. He was kind of 'busy' and wanted us to 'finalize' quickly even without proper audition. Nevertheless I asked him for a best quote and he never bothered to reply.
Somehow my experience with audiopeople, profx and vector was much better than at homecinema. We were given ample time & privacy to audition at leisure, they promptly setup multiple configurations of amp/ speakers so we make a more 'good sounding' decision.

Are there any better speakers than above brands? Bose is too expensive.

Bose is a good sounding boutique brand in my opinion, with good marketing muscle, which enables them to sell for top prices. You can get comparable sound if not better for much less money.
The usual information required before anyone can suggest something is as under mentioned :
1. Size of your listening room.
2. Do you already have a AVR or stereo amp. If yes, which model.
3. Are you looking for a movie setup or music. If both then what percentage is your priority between music and movies.
4. Listening habits. Is there any particular genre of music you like.
5. Lastly budget.
Once the 5 above are known, folks here can start suggesting something, and also places where you can find them. All the best

There is many brands better than BOSE.It depends upon your budget and room size.
