I just got hisense u7k for my tv which has earc. Now I would like to get a decent sound system for EXCLUSIVELY movies.
I would also like the option to upgrade in the future.
AFAIK only stereo is possible in this range right? Which is fine for now but I definitely need a subwoofer.

Room is pretty big but I will be sitting near the TV.
Thanks in advance.

Check these out. They should have you sorted till you decide to go multi channel. It has HDMI ARC input, Phono input if you care for vinyls and importantly a Sub out for you to add a Sub now or later on.

Thanks, but without subwoofer will it still be good for movies (shooting, explosion etc) compared to some cheap 2.1 with subwoofer like Obage HT 144?

Also this seems to be available on Amazon I might buy from there.

Check the speaker reviews. They seem to be good. If you find the bass lacking, you can add a good subwoofer later on. This will be a much better system in the long run.

For excellent sound that won't break the bank, the 5 Star Award Winning Wharfedale Diamond 12.1 Bookshelf Speakers is the one to consider!
