Best Washer Dryer ?

Please suggest on the best washer dryer to go for -

Siemens Or Bosch or any other brand ?

I had bought a IFB senorita model for my mum about 2 years ago, simple electro-mechanical control switch with no electronic display or circuitry.

It is still working with absolutely no issues, since Kochi is famous for electronics getting worn out.

Try to look for a simple machine with not too many gizmos, so that the machine lasts longer in tough Indian conditions and is easier to service.

One thing to remember is that Washing machines handle three things - Water, Electricity and soap together.

Thanks Vinod. Have used IFB for donkeys number of years. And no doubt it is one of the best with Bosch Tech. Looking out for something which has dryer as well.

The one I bought for my mum has a 90-95% dryer which is almost as good as a full dryer. You hardly have to put the clothes to dry at all. My mum in fact takes it straight out of the machine and puts the clothes in the cupboard. Most models do the 80-95% drying anyway.

I am having a washing machine cum dryer with a whooping capacity of 11.3KG.

It drys the clothes 100%.

The brand is Westinghouse.

I think I will go with Siemens . Getting 15-20% discount as well through some direct connect within the company . Guess this is the good deal as otherwise dicounts in showroom on siemens is not much .

Finally it is Siemens, 7kg, VarioSelect, WM series. Delievered and Installed today. :yahoo::clapping:
