Biggest possible screen in 50 ~ 55K range..Without 3D & Frills !!!

If you are not particular about brands why don't check brands like videocon/ Akai / Haier?. Their low end full hd LCD costs around 30K for 40 inches. So 50 inches may be available within your budget.

Thanx god2007...I am not choosy abt brands.....But would like to take advantage of the big brands for support/service.

with 50k thats the possible best picture...
dont worry about numbers of hdmi input etc..
okay you do have non hdmi reciver..so what.
you connect your stb/bluray player/dvd players hdmi into tv....and use the optical/coax into your reciver...
in fact in airtel/videocon dth...you have to do this method only...they dont send DD via hdmi...
and as you said you do have a plan of avr upgrade...so why worry on hdmi input numbers..
acording to your signature a stb and a media player....2 hdmi sources.....why are worrying about hdmi ports now...

I HDMI for Medial Player
1 for Videocon HD STB &
1 for PC (next upgrade)....
With the need to use 3 HDMI connections everyday, i really can't afford to swap the connections in the TV (nor) get a HDMI switcher....

I have put the plan of HDMI receiver on Hold.....Anyways i can live without HDMI receiver atleast for sometime.....Want to experience the PC over big screen hyeah: and play some reasonably good games if possible...

So the TV is Sony KDL-46CX520 LCD...:clapping:

Finally got the Sony KDL-46CX520 yesterday with bill & Warranty...:clapping:

Having migrated from 32 Inches LCD to 46 Inches LCD, i could feel the big screen experience.....
