Please suggest a Blu ray player which plays FLAC files and has built in Wifi.

I have shortlisted Samsung F6500 and Panasonic BDT220.
Both of them can be purchased below 10K.

I am not sure whether Samsung one plays FLAC..can someone please confirm?

I think both of them can be made region free, as per my research on the internet. Again, if someone own them, then please provide feedback.

Any other model I should consider?

Please provide your suggestions.

Thanks

^Thanks buddy..
It is available at ebay for 8.5K with seller warranty only..that's the reason I am hesitating.

Any opinion on Samsung F6500? How does it compare with Pana? Does it play FLAC?
I think it can be made region free pretty easily as per internet forums

You are probably getting seller's warranty since it's imported from certain region A country (Thailand etc.). I remember reading somewhere even if you have manufacture warranty, and apply region free firmware, you'll lose the warranty anyway.

Someone has confirmed that the BDT220 available at ebay.in is from Thailand (Region A). Anyway if you are planning to make it region free you shall go ahead with this only. I really doubt that Samy 6500 can be made region free for BDs, yes it can made region free only for DVDs.

Devices such as BDPs rarely go bust - at least not/rarely in the dust year itself. Do warranty is not a major plus point.

Hmm.. thanks for all the replies.

I have figured out that Samsung BD6500 can play FLAC as well...

So, between the Pana and the Samsung, leaving aside the region-free aspect, which one will be a better choice?
