MBR said it costs Rs.109 in Chennai and you bought it for Rs.70. Are different sized packs available?

Faber-Castell India sells a similar product - "Tack-it". If the price is cheaper, I'd buy it over the blu-tack. The German's do it better than the Yanks anyday

@Hemant: Thats the original Blu-Tack. I think I bought a duplicate!!!

Anyone knows how to report this? I called up Connexions and told them what they are selling is duplicate, I am not sure how much they will act on it.

I have also written an email to Bostik India, US, and UK.

Go throw it back at them [Connexions] and ASK FOR YOUR MONEY BACK. Go during peak hours when their store is crowded.

Whoa! Blu-tack inflation... It used to come in a slab, now it looks like it comes in strips: same size packet, less blu-tack

ANOTHER BLU TAC INCIDENT!

Weird!

MBR requested to get 2 packets of Blu Tac and send it via courior.

Today morning I was near Andheri West station and Saw Anupam store so I went to get those 2 packets!
To my surprise I saw DUPLICATE BLU TAC THERE! ..First sign is the correct name is BLU-TAC and NOT BLUE TAC ( which duplicate packet says) also there is some chinese scribbling on back,

So I visited Andheri East store and found 2 ORIGNAL packets ( last stock) which I picked ,I wanted another ,which I'll check in another shop,

When I told the second owner about his another branch keeping duplicate Blu-Tack he said " Aaisa ho hi nahi sakrta!" ( Maybe he too must have been cheated by supplier.

Now the funniest part Price Of Orignal Rs 70,Duplicate Rs 75!!!In Chennai Duplicate cost Rs 110!!

So you got 75gms. of Blu-Tack for the equivalent of ~US$1.50 which is a very very good price. I checked some online prices in the US & the UK and their prices are much higher. So for that price, I think that the assumed "original" is a fake [I hope not] too or I've got it all wrong.
