Blueray Movies from Blue-Ray Player USB vs LED USB

Hi Members,

I usually download blue-ray movies and wanted to know if there will be any difference in 5.1 Ch output if i connect hard disk to Blue-Ray player USB and if on LED TV USB port ?

I know there are some sound upscaling features in blue-ray players when content played from blue-ray disk but not sure if same technology also available for the content played via USB.

I have Yamaha YHT-299 with USB port but it never detect my hard disk may be 1TB is too big.

Please suggest.

Are you downloading legal movies? from where?? what are the charges?

First try to find out what types of partition your Yamaha do support. If it support only FAT32, then format your hdd to that before put any file to play.
