Hello Experts,

I am currently looking for a Blueray Player to work along with a Non Network AVR(Yet to be purchased,in a fix between Yamaha V377 & Marantz Nr1403 & Pioneer 524K).

Can you pls suggest whether this combination will suffice(For example If I want to stream Internet Stuff onto the TV passing through the AVR or want to stream NAS content or simply use the DLNA config)

I am currently in Shanghai & hence getting good deals on both AVR's & Blueray Players.

I have shortlisted these players(Not in any order of preference)
1.Pioneer BDP 160(8.7 K)
2.Panasonic??DMP-BDT360GK / 230GK (12.6K/ 9.8K respectively)
3.Sony BDP-S4100(6.8K) ->No WIFI!

I really like the Panasonic Miracast feature(seems to work like Airplay) & I think Pioneer also has that feature(WIFI direct)Not sure about the Sony one.

Thanks.
Arnab

Hi,

I am using Pioneer Blu Ray players (BDP 150 and BDP LX 55) on Marantz NR 1402 and NR 1601 respectively...both players work fine and I tried I guess a couple of times streaming using the RJ45 socket....so far no issues....works fine and both players firmware is upgradable....
