On the look out for blueray player. What are the good options within a budget of 15-20k.

Check Sony had BDV-E4100 (which I believe upgraded version of Blu-ray HT BDV-E870 which I have been using for the last 14 years without any problem) and it may cost close to 30K.

Whoa! I have the same set, working 14 years for me too! I had forgotten the model number until I looked it up reading your post.

I'm kinda waiting/hoping it will go kaput ASAP so I can get a nice floorstander+avr combo - dont need a disc player now.
