hi..
how much difference in quality does it make if I hear my music form my
iphone 3GS
1)by using the regular cable
2)stereo blue tooth head set ..?

what options do i have so that i can hear music in library too with out attracting much attention by using the regular cable ..

awaiting for replies ...

It all depends on what you are looking for. If you are on the move, and are listening to MP3, Bluetooth transfer data at 721 Kbps. This is more than sufficient for MP3.

Cheers

hi venkat ..sry ..

Fail? I don't see why it unless there is some kind of crosstalk or interference. That will be a momentary glitch till the signal locks on again.

Cheers

May be very small!

music on the move includes some noise from the outer surrounding..
small differences if any will not be prominent provided the bluetooth
gear used is of good make ...

One time i tested Dell BT headphones , they were BASS heavy and okok in mids
it is not because BT is having issues ,it is due to the extra thngies that come when the phones are made wireless

they have to give u
battery +BT RXTX + AMP in one pack: cost of making may be 1k
so they sale for 2K

so while doing that they do good compromise in all element ....

while you test at very silent place you may get a difference..
the cellphone is in a way ok playback device

is you want to get pretty decent music on the go then iAudio /Slo:2 are things you should carry

They fail in lossless music.!
Because they have atleast a bitrate of 1000kbps.!
Also generally because of extra making charges and low demand these are sold at higher price then what they and there sound is worth of.!
But even then if you want bt only you can go for sony neckbands.!
They have pretty decnt quality(a bit low-end emphasis comparitive to analytical flat sound) and have good build quality too.!

Cheers.
Hope it helps:)

Any idea about apt-X enabled devices?

aptX |CSR

According to one post in this thread, some devices already support apt-X. A fellow head-fi member is using them on commute and he mentioned about this months ago. While he mentioned the SQ via the apt-X headset was much better than he experienced before, he does not use loss-less formats on the go.

There are some devices for that but as far as i know cowons doesnt support them as of yet.!
Also as mentioned in the aformentioned post as well, sound quality is best with wired only!
