friends I bought this TV for my parents a week ago, after getting the delivery i found that the TV has horrible viewing angles and also it does not support too many formats via USB, it costed me around 28 k with 2 years of additional warranty, pls advice what to do ? i bought it from Reliance Digital shall I get it replaced with some other model ?

I don't think anyone will replace a working TV because 'you are dissapointed'.
Try though.

Checkout panasonic/samsung entry level plasma if viewing angle is the problem.
Samsung Plasma if USB playback is the issue.

42" should come to ~35k.

Agree with BLASTO as always - Plasma gives better viewing angles at the price point indicated here.

Pana X30D was on Ebay for 29.9K till 10 days back. It is a 42 inch plasma with USB support for common formats.

As for viewing angles, some entry level LCD do have this issue, hope you would have seen the same TV in a showroom before ordering it. India still does not have active return policy, check with the dealer if you can take a hit of couple of thousand rupees and change it for another TV that you like.

I was about to buy the same TV. But after visiting this forum i made up my mind for plasma. I'm glad i made the right decision. :D
