Looking for an LED/OLED TV for my room but getting confused between the Bravia 7 mini-LED and the LG C4 OLED as both are at the same price level. My main consumption would be movies and shows on streaming apps including both SDR and HDR content, sports and occassional gaming.

Now I already own an X90L in the main living room and enjoying it but the dilemma I have with the LG C4 is once I start watching the C4 OLED, the X90L LED will look very dull in comparison. I very much want to go with the obvious choice Bravia 7 but just worried about its reflection handling as my room is brighter than the living room where the X90L is. I do have proper curtains to cut out the entire window lights in the room but the ceiling rights are something which I will keep on.

What should I go with? B7 has fantastic motion handling which I am very particular about but very poor reflection handling. C4 I guess has a much better reflection handling as per Rtings but stuttering issues. Plus its going to make my living room X90L look pale.

Bravia 7 or the LG C4? Has anyone else faced the same dilemma of having an LED and OLED in the same house?

I was in the same dillema a few months back. Bravia 7 vs C4, and finally let the wallet decide. C4 was 30% cheaper than Bravia 7.

I am enjoying my C4.

How is C4 with the motion Processing? Do you see the stutter that is there in OLEDs ?

BTW right now the difference between the two is only 10K due to diwali offers still going.

Check out the S95D as well for reflections as it has anti-glare / matte finish.

Pricing approx same as Bravia 7 i guess for 65 inch

Would be a good choice, but the OP's concern re: his X90L (in living room) looking pale in comparison would actually get confounded. Haha!

@jain1980 In my humble opinion, one should not shy away from something better just because it makes something existing seems inferior in comparison. Honestly, you have a really good problem to have, which most would be envious of. I'd say go for the OLED - C4 or even G4 if that fits your budget.

The Bravia 7 is actually quite poor with reflection handling and I don't know why but for me it seemed even inferior to X90L or even the LG QNED88T in-person at the well-lit stores (same settings and same content on same resolution). Just one look at the Bravia 7 and C4 in-person, and you'd have your answer easily!

P.S.: I'm aware that the LG QNED I mentioned is edge-lit LED and will have (actually has) bleed issues from the bottom sides, visible however only when watching content in complete dark room, which at least isn't the use-case for me. Choose per your use-case and your watching environment.

You are absolutely right but another thing that's bugging me is the stutter/ Judder motion issues with the oleds...how bad will that be ?

OLED any day. Simply its a better tech than miniLED. Just because you will regret the x90l doesn't mean you don't deserve a better product. Tbh there will be very miniscule difference that you will actually notice since they are not side by side.
Personally for SDR content i felt like the Bravia 7 got brighter
I wouldn't care much about reflections as your room is light controlled.
Check out (qd-oled) s90d 65 inch for 1.35 or less that is very good price as some forum members have bought.

Looked at S90D also as an option but it lacks dolby vision and has reported motion Processing quality check issues.
