Amazon has been offering free shipping on items over $125.
To easily know if the item is available for shipping to India use the following extension/addon

Firefox - https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/does-amazon-ship-to/
When you use the extension/addon, you will be presented with a button in the product page to check if the item ships to a particular country. Choose India and you are set.
Note: Customs is additional and Amazon calculates it for you and you have to pay upfront. They take all the hassles of customs clearing. If customs duty was paid less by Amazon than what you had paid, the balance will be refunded to you.
