I understand your point that driver capabilities matter and I was of the same opinion as you are. Please take a look of Powersound audio drivers imported from a company called B & C speakers from France. The technical parameters says only 34Hz to 1000Hz. However as a finished product, the subwoofer can cover Fs from 19Hz -160Hz as claimed by PSA. This is incredible.

BC speakers are really good. The 12bg100 was on my wishlist for a long time. but really expensive. With the typical markup of Indian distributor might be unaffordable .
