looks much better now than when the speakers were on the wooden rack.

try to organize the wiring on rear of the wooden rack and try and eliminate the handing wires for a nice feel.

Hi Ajit,

Which amplifier did you finally go for?
Can't make out from the picture you've given.

ajit,

for the wadia power dac try to give power to it directly instead of thru a belkin surge protector.. ( i see that in the pic )

i also see a UPS... is that necessary ? do you have frequent power cuts etc. ?

Thank you

to keep the power supply path as short and as direct as possible.

Sometimes many straws ( loads ) sucking coke ( power ) from the same watering hole ( bottle ) can create scarcity :)

you mean the distance from power meter to the setup should be as less as possible, or to the wall socket ?

also if we even connect to different sockets ( amp, pre amp, source ) , in the back of the wall socket it is again connected to same wire parallel, i think we should pull separate wires from meter for each equipment that will make more sense.

weekend is already began, and i am desperate need of a nice cartridge for my sony ps 11 preferably ( ortofon super om 10/ shure m97xe / m44-7 )

@ajitelsy

you may want to look at the speaker placement section and plan accordingly,

as of now for a quick improvement , place your speaker about 8 feet apart, and leave about 1 feet of gap in the back
Make sure both the speakers are equidistant from side wall as well
if possible place the speaker along the lengthiest side of wall, please refer the image attached

Hi Ajit,

The Wadia looks a very elegant solution. Enjoy the music!!
IFI products are getting very popular nowadays - hearing a lot of positive stuff on DSD as well.

Share a review on here when you have the time!

Regards.

nice

whats the rest of your room like ?

cant the entire setup be moved 2 feet to the left ?
that may give you some more width between the speakers .... maybe
