hi
I was using a hits Yamaha 6.5 inched for long as my room was small. Now with a bigger room and with weird design I need a bigger and especially a sealed sub as I have heard they are placement friendly.

I am looking at max 30k budget options and shortlisted these two without auditioning as it is not available in my state. My preference is music though I watch movies frequently but not action or bass heavy stuffs.

Wharfedale D10 is available at hifimart and Taga is at amazon.in

Please suggest.

I believe so as the Yamaha sub seems to have better specs and can go more lower than both.....

Audition where possible.......there are some members recently who have made a purchase of the said Yamaha sub and are happy...infact they have even made a new thread for Yamaha subs

I have no corner available for the side-firing subwoofer which has been suggested by many as the optimal placement option. That's why I am thinking about the sealed option.

Here there is no option for audition. Seems it is sold out at Amazon.in Yet to find out another online listing.

Suggest you post your query in the new created Yamaha Subwoofer and Speaker thread...there are some new owners who can give you pointers on where to order the sub.........

Any sub placed according to room dimension could give smoother bass in the room..

You can get dual Taga TSW 90 subwoofer for 3K over your budget.. You may consider that too..

For excellent sound that won't break the bank, the 5 Star Award Winning Wharfedale Diamond 12.1 Bookshelf Speakers is the one to consider!
