Connecting Belkin Bluetooth Wireless receiver with my Yahamaha RX-V465

Hi , I have connected the Belkin Bluetooth Wireless Receiver(BBWR) at the AUX port available the the front right hand side bottom of the amp. But the volume output is very low . Normally i would listen at -36 but with the BBWR it has to be somewhere around -22 to provide the same. The volume from the sourced device (HTC Incredible S, Google Nexus 7) is the highest available.
Would like some comments on whether :-
-> Has anyone paired the BBWR or anyother Bluetooth Receiver and their experience.
-> Is there anyother port where i can connect the BBWR.
-> Any way i can increase the volume apart from the amp.

I am using a Bluetooth adapter (30-pin) meant for ipod/iphone docks with the iphone charger dock. The charger dock has a lineout socket (single pin stereo). I have connected this to my Yamaha RXV-1700 with a single pin stereo to 2-pin RCA cable. The BT adapter needs power supply which Im providing through the regular iphone wall socket power cable. The sound is good and I can use any device with BT .
