Hi all
I have rinsed the internet now for answers so I've decided to come here direct to hopefully understand better.
I have just purchased some old school technics SU x502 amp with matching speakers. As well as using it for my CD player I'm also utilising the system to amp my sky+ Box as well. Although I've managed to get it to work I'm unsure that I've done it correctly and I'm worried I could be damaging something.

First of all, the sky box says that it's max power consumption is 45w where as the amp kicks out way more than this, obviously I'm only connecting the two via RCA cable so not sure if this matters or not.

Secondly which input should I go into the amp from the sky box. I'm currently using VDP but volume levels seem to be different, so just want to make sure I'm maximising audio quality for home theatre.

Thanks all

A beautiful, well-constructed speaker with class-leading soundstage, imaging and bass that is fast, deep, and precise.
